摘要: A ZnS-enwrapped amine-functionalized fly ash nanocomposite (ZnS/A-FA) has been prepared by using various weight percentages of amine functionalized ash, zinc nitrate hexahydrate and sodium sulphide through wet chemical synthesis method. The synthesized ZnS/A-FA photocatalyst is characterized XRD, UV-visible DRS, PL, FT-IR, FE-SEM, EDX, elemental mapping, HR-TEM, TGA BET techniques. surface area results conclude that the ash-supported ZnS a higher 153.5 m2 g−1 than bare (68.5 g−1). photocatalytic activity investigated for degradation methylene blue (MB) dye under UV irradiation. percentage experiments are conducted varying A-FA supported to 0.25%, 0.5%, 1%, 2% 3%. In addition, kinetic studies carried out pH, catalyst dosage concentration. From results, it concluded shows catalytic compared nanoparticles. Further, one percent A-FA-supported exhibits performance when other ratios. antibacterial properties A-FA, studied against Gram-positive Gram-negative bacteria. studies, found material good Hence, promising waste water treatment, applications.
