摘要: Eleven independent insertion mutations were isolated that prevented expression of major outer membrane protein 1b. Seven the Mucts insertions located at ombP. These ompB::Mucts strains fell into two phenotypic classes with regard to proteins 1a and The remaining four mutants comprised one Tn5 three mapping par. par used construct fusions lac operon promoter. Expression beta-galactosidase in these fusion reflected known regulatory properties When an ompB allele was introduced par-lac strains, activity reduced 14- 31-fold.
