摘要: An enhanced interworking function (E-IWF) supports a method of direct digital between radio telecommunications network and standard Internet Protocol (IP) routers. A general purpose performs speech transcoding data interworking. specific translation translates directly mobile-specific voice encoding Voice-over-IP protocols, fax Fax-on-IP protocols. The provides cellular protocols in time division multiple access (TDMA) network, being utilized by an End-System (ES) or gateway.
