Is There a Relationship between Financial literacy and Investment Decisions in the Kingdom of Bahrain

摘要: Financial literacy has ever increasing importance in our day. Whether people are financially knowledgeable, helps greatly making rational investment decisions. Numerous studies have been undertaken to explore, investigate and measure financial several developed countries. However, very few of them conducted the Arab World Gulf Countries.  Therefore, purpose this study is level Bahraini individual investors. In addition to, examine relationship between decisions Kingdom Bahrain. The draws on 228 questionnaire surveys investors order investors, approach Lusardi Mitchell (2006) was utilized research effort. data were analyzed using Pearson Correlation, t-teat Chi-square test. results reveal that found be low (38.6%) far from needed level.  When we based demographic variables, women generally less literate than men; respondents age 41-50 more knowledgeable all other groups, highly correlated with education. Moreover, participants high group (HFLG) higher awareness for products except certificate deposit post office savings. Further, (LFLG) mainly prefer invest traditional safe do not much complex which comparatively risky can give return .
