摘要: Background Patients with liver failure due to or in addition congenital heart disease (CHD) represent a growing population need of organ transplantation. Traditionally, these patients received combined and transplantation carrying high risk perioperative morbidity mortality. Methods We discuss patient complex cyanotic CHD biliary atresia undergoing liver-only Furthermore, literature study was performed on the setting Results describe unique case severe orthotopic for atresia. In literature, malformations affecting different organs seems not that infrequent. Liver-only has been described mild CHD, although data adult are scarce. usually suffers from congestion. The severity reversibility should be estimated decide heart-liver Conclusions Our review demonstrate patient-tailored approach may an appropriate alternative selected cases.
