摘要: Abstract In a discourse concerned principally with premixed systems, the subject of turbulent combustion is presented as radically opposite to laminar flames, two bounding between them whole spectrum normal exothermic reactive phenomena—processes devoid intense gasdynamic instabilities like shocks, detonations, or blast waves. The subjection flames appears then an interim regime distinct, clear alternatives—a situation rationalizing its intrinsic problems and obscure character. Penner's inspiration, contributions, leadership were particularly instrumental in genesis these concepts.
