摘要: The complete nucleotide sequence of an HLA-DR antigen-like beta-chain cDNA clone was determined. 1,080 base pairs include the coding region and most untranslated portion. predicted amino acid has 229 residues. beta chain contains two immunoglobulin-like disulfide loops a 21-amino residue membrane-integrated segment. Ten residues reside on cytoplasmic side plasma membrane. single asparagine-linked carbohydrate moiety is attached to asparagine-19. NH2-terminal 91 are homologous corresponding HLA-A, -B, -C antigen heavy chains. Residues 92-192 display statistically significant homology members immunoglobulin family, 2-microglobulin, domain These data establish that major histocompatibility antigens class I II type constant regions immunoglobulins evolutionarily related.
