摘要: Childhood maltreatment increases the risk for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and comorbid substance use (SUD). One pathway by which this occurs is through impaired emotion regulation. Past research has shown that negative urgency, a deficit in regulation of emotions, strongly related to PTSD those with SUD. However, there minimal on relation between positive urgency The current study investigated association childhood maltreatment, symptoms among Results suggested was associated overall. did not moderate PTSD. emotional abuse, neglect, sexual abuse moderated (ΔR2 = .04 .10). only significant at lower levels neglect.
