摘要: The idea that behaviour can be influenced at population level by altering the environments within which people make choices (choice architecture) has gained traction in policy circles. However, empirical evidence to support this is limited, especially its application changing health behaviour. We propose an evidence-based definition and typology of choice architecture interventions have been implemented small-scale micro-environments evaluated for their effects on four key sets behaviours: diet, physical activity, alcohol tobacco use. argue limitations base are due not simply absence evidence, but also a prior lack definitional conceptual clarity concerning applications public intervention. This hampered potential systematic assessment existing evidence. By seeking address issue, we demonstrate how our enabled identification preliminary mapping large body available interventions. discuss implications further primary research, synthesis development design evaluation such groundwork provides foundation future research investigate effectiveness approach used may serve as template other under-explored fields enquiry.
