摘要: This paper presents the load frequency control(LFC) of two area interconnected power system each comprising a thermal unit with reheat turbine and hydro generating unit. In order to have better performance LFC, proportional-integral-derivative(PID) controller is used whose parameters are optimized using particle swarm optimization (PSO) technique. present work, effect AC-DC tie lie on LFC in PSO tuned controllers tested compared only AC line. It observed that transient parallel line improved when The results obtained presented.
