摘要: This review presents the current knowledge of basic biology intermediate filaments, including their phylogenetic distribution and within mammalian cells. The understanding structure, recently described using recombinant DNA, peptide sequencing, immunologic methods, is discussed in terms a revised chemical classification that not only includes acidic neutral keratins, vimentin, glial fibrillary protein, desmin, neurofilament, but also more related nuclear lamins. new structural allows rational approach to diagnostic use development polyclonal monoclonal anti-intermediate filament antibodies. Many problems encountered with fixation, cross-reactivity, epitope masking can be these concepts.
