摘要: This chapter presents the wide-band code-division multiple access (WCDMA) radio resource functions for universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS). A detailed description of European Telecommunications Standardisation Institute (ETSI) WCDMA is given including power control, random access, initial cell search, and handover procedures. The was selected as an example fuzzy reasoning illustrations in cellular systems mainly because its important role a third generation system.
