摘要: We analyze J- and K-band observations of the 1998 solar eclipse derive F-corona brightness in K band between 3 7 R☉ from center Sun J out to 5 R☉. The falloff is fitted with a radial power law exponent -2.4 ± 0.1 at equator -2.9 pole. This slope gentler than that derived 1983 but steeper for 1991 eclipse. profiles agree well models explain F corona weakly absorbing dust particles. Comparison indicates reddening respect spectrum. is, however, less pronounced compared observed during total fact may be attributed change composition near Sun. As profiles, better explained assume rather strongly particles corona. Similar recent observations, we do not detect an excess emission feature near-solar hence can reject hypothesis suggests correlation detection activity cycle.
