摘要: A synthetic lipid emulsion (LE) has been developed with physicochemical properties that closely resemble those of a specific class naturally-occurring lipoproteins known as chylomicron remnants. The formulation the potential to serve hepatocyte-selective delivery system for any lipophilic or amphipathic compounds can be associated internal phase emulsion. In present studies, polyiodinated triglyceride (ITG) was successfully incorporated into vehicle form stable chylomicron-remnant-like capable localizing material liver following intravenous injection. preferred ITG-LE shown have mean particle diameter less than 200 nm and size stability profile in excess 12 months. viscosity, pH, osmolality also appeared favorable safe convenient profile, chemical properties, high degree incorporation ITG suggest holds substantial promise imaging agent computed tomography liver. Biodistribution, elimination, (CT) results animals corroborated nature formulation.
