摘要: Abstract In this work, acrylates with various functionalities are employed as the branching coagent for improving properties of long chain branched polylactide (LCB-PLA) induced by reactive extrusion low content cyclic organic peroxide (COP). It is discovered that heat resistance and foaming performance COP-initiated LCB-PLA remarkably improved coagent. Specifically, Vicat softening temperature expansion ratio 0.3 wt% sharply increased to above 150 °C 27.0-fold, respectively (60 °C 9.8-fold COP modified PLA). This due simultaneously enhanced melt strength crystallization obviously degree Moreover, branch-promotion efficiency coagents found be independent functionality steric hindrance. The possible mechanisms on formation topological structures PLA proposed.
