摘要: Tobacco smoking accounts for at least 30% of all cancer deaths and nearly 90% lung deaths. Smoking cessation significantly reduces the risk developing tobacco-related malignancies. after diagnosis is also associated with multiple risks, including worse tolerance treatment, higher a failure second primary tumors, poorer quality life. Apart from disease site stage, continued considered strongest adverse predictor survival in patients. However, benefits are undervalued: many patients not aware harms related to tobacco use diagnosis. Furthermore, health care professionals often do encourage their quit, provide assistance continuing users. Despite apparent impact on treatment outcomes, data current status only rarely captured clinical trials This article reviews most important aspects cancer.
