摘要: Tree cover affects herbaceous composition and productivity can improve forage quality quantity. We evaluated if tree in woodlands co-dominated by deciduous evergreen have any positive effect on availability for domestic wild herbivores. Species cover, grass forbs biomass were estimated five canopy types: (1) no (2) full of trees, (3) partial (4) trees (5) trees. Differences between types green total depended sampling date. In the moderately grazed range, grasses under was higher lower than areas winter summer respectively. heavily this both similar all seasons. Similar C3 found spring However, C4 greater which is likely to be related with standing dead compared type. Moreover, temporal variation suggests that phenology differs different Since enhanced seasons, herbivores might benefit combination at a landscape scale.
