摘要: Various host plants were found to induce microsomal monooxygenase activity that activates organophosphorus insecticides in larvae of the fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith). Of these plants, cotton and parsley best inducers organophosphate desulfuration sulfoxidation, respectively. The induction was associated with increased toxicity numerous phosphorothionate thioether-containing insecticides. Analyses internal insecticide revealed that, at various intervals, induced retained less phorate its oxidative metabolites than did controls, indicating caused an overall increase rate metabolism this insect.
