摘要: Safe disposal of different harmful substances considered as pollutants is a key problem in the environmental context. Principal approaches for decontamination are briefly overviewed. The main focus then placed on photochemical methods used degradation pollutants. Application phthalocyanine complexes chlorinated phenols, dyes, etc. discussed more details. Three principal involving these readily accessible catalysts formulated: (i) chemical systems including catalyst and an oxidant; (ii) based photosensitizers absorbing UV visible light generation reducing oxidizing sites which react directly with molecules molecular oxygen to form strong oxidants like hydroxyl radical; (iii) combined photo-assisted oxidation processes when external oxidant hydrogen peroxide together boost oxidative degradation. Mechanistic aspects illustrate essential features provide some background choice optimal system new developments.
