摘要: Abstract Parametric CAD modelling systems requires the successful model creation and modification in product design phase. It demands persistent identification of topological entities, retrieving faces, edges, vertexes are done with those entities specific unique names called IDs. Those should contain their properties which would be unambiguous among entities. In this paper, we going to present reviews existing mechanisms discuss merits demerits based on topology approach, geometry or a combination both ones. This review paper tries define mechanism not simply by but like feature orientation identification, faceIDGraph etc. Previous papers classified only geometrical too simple understand inside that method. also identifies advantages limitations current approaches while suggesting new approach developed consisting approach. suggests future direction parametric models
