摘要: The research of Henry Hecaen and Oliver Zangwill on patients with unilateral brain lesions in the later 1940s early 1950s ushered modern era investigation hemispheric cerebral dominance. field inquiry expanded far beyond language visual perception to encompass audition, somesthesis, motor performance, attentional processes, emotionality, psychiatric disorders. hundreds studies dealing topic indicate that dominance is not an all-or-none phenomenon that, some degree, it unstable dependent upon bihemispheric factors. basic cognitive processes are preferentially mediated by each hemisphere factors produce changes performance still require adequate definition.
