摘要: This study describes a detailed computed tomographic reference of the normal equine foot. Ten forefeet five adult cadavers, without evidence orthopaedic disease, were used. Computed tomography (CT) was performed on all feet. Two-millimetre thick transverse slices obtained, and sagittal dorsal planes reformatted. The CT images matched with corresponding anatomic slices. phalanges distal sesamoid bone showed excellent detail. extensor flexor tendons (including their attachments) could be clearly evaluated. collateral (sesamoidean) ligaments readily located, but difficult to delineate at proximal attachment. digital annular ligament only distinguished from deep tendon bone, its attachment identified, not insertion. Small (impar ligament, chondrosesamoidean, chondrocoronal chondrocompedal ligaments, axial abaxial palmar inter-phalangeal joint) seen difficulty joint capsules delineated surrounding soft tissue structures. lateral medial proprius artery vein visualized occasionally some ungular cartilages, corium hoof wall layering seen. nerves, articular fibrocartilage chondroungular assessed. foot can great value when results radiography ultrasonography are inconclusive. Images obtained in this may serve as for
