摘要: We applied serological analysis of recombinant cDNA expression libraries (SEREX) to cases esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) identify tumor antigens. One the clones identified was TROP2, which is known as calcium signal transducer. To evaluate clinical significance serum anti-TROP2 antibodies (s-TROP2-Abs) in patients with SCC, presence s-TROP2-Abs analyzed by Western blotting using bacterially expressed TROP2 protein. found that 23 75 (31%) were positive for s-TROP2-Abs. Positivity terms showed a significant association size but not other clinicopathological features. The protein levels much higher SCC lines compared those normal mucosa and its immortalized cells although mRNA necessarily elevated malignant tissues. Immunohistochemical studies specimens noticeably than mild hyperplasia mucosae. Thus, seemed useful diagnosis may be candidate markers.
