Numerical evaluation of dislocation loop sink strengths: A phase-field approach

摘要: Abstract A phase-field method is applied to compute the sink strength of dislocation loops in irradiated materials. This model enables consider various geometries and long range elastic interactions between migrating defects. Our results show that analytical solutions underestimate loops. In addition, influence elasticity on increases with loop radius. Finally, there a significant effect line configuration enhanced by elasticity.
