Intergenerational Learning (between Generation X & Y) in Learning Families: A Narrative Inquiry

摘要: The purpose of this study is to examine intergenerational learning behaviour within ten Hong Kong families between Generation X parents and their Y children. It tries investigate knowledge exchange, identify the characteristics culture in ‘learning families’. A narrative inquiry approach adopted asking participants recall tell stories describing personal experiences. Results indicate that 80% thought family a family’, happy experience can be bi-directional. positive facilitates especially  direction. Learning methodology differs two generations due societal changes differences upbringing. conceptual framework relation lifelong developed. government public should re-define teaching practise promote even schools.
