摘要: We have performed a full time and luminosity-resolved spectral analysis of the high-mass X-ray binary 4U 1538−522 using available RXTE, INTEGRAL, Suzaku data, examining both phase-averaged pulse-phase-constrained data sets focusing on behaviour cyclotron resonance scattering feature (CRSF). No statistically significant trend between energy CRSF luminosity is observed in combined set. However, appears to increased by ∼1.5 keV ∼8.5 yr RXTE measurements, with Monte Carlo simulations finding measurement 4.6σ above points. Interestingly, much more robust spectra from peak main pulse, suggesting change that limited single magnetic pole. The seven years measurements do not show any strongly evolution their own. discuss significance CRSF's respect context historical observations this source as well recent observational theoretical work concerning neutron star accretion column, suggest some mechanisms which over could occur.
