PENTALOGY OF FALLOT IN A CAPTIVE SIBERIAN TIGER (PANTHERA TIGRIS ALTAICA)

摘要: A 2-yr-old male Siberian Tiger (Panthera tigris altaica) died during a fight with conspecific. At necropsy, significant abnormalities included severe cardiomegaly cardiac malformations consisting of large atrial septal defect, membranous ventricular overriding aorta, and stenosis the pulmonary valve secondary concentric hypertrophy right ventricle. Endocardiosis mitral was also noted. To authors' knowledge, this is first report pentalogy Fallot in felid that resulted sudden death.
