摘要: Here we review the current knowledge of green mirids, Creontiades dilutus (Hemiptera: Miridae). are highly polyphagous pests that endemic to Australia. They widely distributed across Australia and feed on a broad range agricultural crops. Recently, C. has become an important focus pest control in Australian cotton crops, most likely due decrease insecticide use associated with widespread uptake transgenic varieties. Prior this, had been coincidentally controlled by applications insecticides targeted at other such as Helicoverpa spp. Further, status summer pulse crops more apparent increased research dedicated this area over past decade. We various aspects biology ecology dilutus, including their life cycle, feeding behaviour host plants. also examine methods laboratory-rearing techniques, which will be for development novel strategies cropping environments. Possible future directions highlighted, dispersal capabilities extent genetic structure within populations, these have implications effective sustainable future.
