摘要: Abstract Specific oligonucleotide probes have been used to visualize the regional and cellular distribution of mRNAs encoding three structurally distinct GABA A receptor α subunits in bovine brain. In situ hybridization analysis showed that these transcripts differ relative abundance. frontal cortex α1 α2 are most abundant layers II–IV, whereas α3 mRNA is V VI. hippocampal complex, differentially distributed entorhinal subiculum. The transcript enriched dentate gyrus CA4CA3 regions hippocampus. cerebellum, essentially only detectable granule cells, Purkinje stellate/basket cells. These results suggest different represent components subtypes.
