摘要: Specimens of Thecaphora saponariae s. lat. from several caryophyllacean host plants belonging to the genera Cerastium, Dianthus, Petrorhagia, Saponaria, Silene, and Stellaria were studied by means both LM, SEM, molecular phylogenetic analyses using ITS LSU rDNA sequences. The data show that T. is not uniform but represents taxa. Molecular analyses, correlated with morphology sori, spore balls, spores, permitted recognition five species. Two new species, italica cerastii are described, two combinations, alsinearum melandrii proposed. anamorph reported for first time. A lectotype designated Sorosporium silenes-inflatae. Evolutionary aspects discussed.
