摘要: This article is a review of the gas-phase association reactions (CH3)3Si+ with organic bases. The are considered under headings three pressure regimes which they studied. ICR and FTICR studies, carried out at pressures 10−5 lower, allow insights into stabilizations, collisional radiative, decompositions nascent adducts. At around 2 Torr, chemical ionization studies demonstrate utility limitations as reagent ion, whereas high-pressure mass spectrometric flowing afterglow experiments yield information on thermodynamics reactions. Information also obtained stabilization alkyl vinyl cations by (CH3)3Si group in position β to charge site. High (∼ 1 atmosphere) γ-radiolytic give detailed neutral products formed via relative rate data for inter- intramolecular processes that occur energy-rich adducts prior neutralization. ease experimentation R3Si+ gas phase contrasted difficulty its recognition observation condensed phase. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc., Mass Spectrom Rev 16(1), 25–49,
