摘要: Traffic information exchange between vehicles and city-wide traffic command center will enable various management applications in future smart cities. These require a secure reliable communication framework that ensures real-time data exchange. In this paper, we propose Fog-Assisted Cooperative Protocol (FACP) efficiently transmits uplink downlink messages with the help of fog Road Side Units (RSUs). FACP divides road into clusters computes cluster head to facilitate transmission or RSUs. Using combination IEEE 802.11p C-V2X wireless technologies, minimizes time required by vehicle retrieve information. Furthermore, also utilizes cooperative transmissions improve reliability messages. Simulations results show improves reception rate end-to-end delay
