摘要: We report here the in vivo diagnostic use of a peptide-dye conjugate consisting cyanine dye and somatostatin analog octreotate as contrast agent for optical tumor imaging. When used whole-body imaging mouse xenografts, indotricarbocyanine-octreotate accumulated tissue. Tumor fluorescence rapidly increased was more than threefold higher that normal tissue from 3 to 24 h after application. The targeting also specifically internalized by primary human neuroendocrine cells. This approach, combining specificity ligand/receptor interaction with near-infrared detection, may be applied various other fields cancer diagnosis.
