摘要: There are many successful geothermal projects that exploit the Upper Jurassic aquifer at 2–3 km depth in German Molasse Basin. However, up to now, only P-wave seismic exploration has been carried out. In an experiment Greater Munich area, we recorded S-waves were generated by conventional survey, using 3C receivers. From this, built a 3D volume of P- S-converted (PS) waves asymptotic conversion point approach. By combining P-volume and resulting PS-seismic volume, able derive spatial distribution vp/vs ratio both overburden reservoir. We found ratios for units range from 2.0 2.3 with median 2.15, which is much higher than previously assumed. This raises hypocenters induced earthquakes surrounding wells. The vary laterally between 1.5 2.2. Since no boreholes available verification, test our results against independently derived facies classification it correlates well. Furthermore, see low correlate high vp vs velocities. interpret latter as dolomitized rocks, connected enhanced permeability conclude registration surveys worthwhile.
