摘要: Abstract The magnetic dipole moment of Mercury can be explained on the basis thermoremanent magnetization acquired by an outer shell in ancient Mercurian field produced internal source such as a core dynamo which is now inactive. Such will give rise to provided that there are differences permeability between and interior, or free space. By assuming properties surface rocks similar those Moon it shown fields order 1 gauss iron concentrations few percent sufficient produce present moment.
