摘要: Collection of data from the Ames plasma analyzer on Pioneer Venus orbiter has permitted long-term measurements interaction solar wind with Venus. This paper presents a mapping ionosheath flow field, as well in distant and near cavity (∼10 radii downstream), summary observations jumps proton parameters across Venus' bow shock, also apparent detection ionospheric O+ accelerated up to speeds downstream ionosheath.
