摘要: Barley is one of the world’s most important crops providing food and related products for millions people. Diseases continue to pose a serious threat barley production, despite use fungicides resistant varieties, highlighting impact fungicide resistance breakdown host plant on efficacy control measures. This paper reviews progress towards an integrated approach disease management in which new methods may be combined with existing measures improve long-term. Advances have been made genetic mapping (R) genes identifying novel sources wild populations land races. Marker assisted selection techniques are being used pyramid R increase durability resistance. Elicitors induce combination can provide effective field could delay evolution insensitivity. Traits that contribute tolerance escape identified extent variation within germplasm determined. Tools developed integrate above via assessment risk economic injury occurring from guide decisions requirement treatment. Barriers exist adoption approaches growers end-users further down supply chain (e.g. acceptance variety mixtures) policy incentives government required it taken up practice.
