摘要: A total of seventeen vertical profiles ozone were obtained during an Indo-USSR collaborative experiment on ozonesonde intercomparison conducted at Thumba March 1983. The distribution was measured using rocket-borne, balloon-borne as well ground-based instruments. Four different rocket ozonesondes from India and USSR the balloon used to makein situ observations concentrations in addition Dobson spectrophotometric Umkehr. launchings effected three salvos measurements made times day night. results all these are obtain a mean over foT spring equinoxial period. profile shows maximum concentration 27 km with value (3.86±0-52)×1012 molecules per cc. Comparison this available satellite data for equatorial regions that, general, values lower by 10–15% altitudes below 40 larger above 50 compared results. also show evidence day-to-day variability possible day-to-night night-time higher than daytime 35 difference is found increase increasing altitude.
