摘要: Adrenergic receptors (ARs) belong to the largest known family of transmembrane receptors, G protein-coupled (GPCRs). Two subtypes, α and β, have been described, even though they both respond norepinephrine epinephrine, cellular responses mediate differ significantly. Many human diseases, such as heart failure, are characterized by alterations in adrenergic signaling. The generation genetically modified mice with altered expression one AR subtypes has useful for characterization mechanisms receptor activation, well ensuing vivo phenotype. availability numerous targeted mouse models an important tool study function identification potential novel therapeutic strategies a wide range diseases.
