摘要: This chapter will discuss the role of cardiac fibroblasts as a target various immunological inputs well an immunomodulatory hub heart through interaction with immune cell types and chemokine or cytokine signaling. While purpose this is to explore properties fibroblasts, it important note that are not homogeneous type, but have unique embryological origin molecular identity. Specific may influence way they interact microenvironment promote healthy homeostatic function respond pathological insults. Therefore, we briefly these aspects fibroblast biology then focus on their in heart.
