摘要: At the skeletal neuromuscular junction, electrophysiological methods have provided much useful information about mechanisms involved in release of transmitter1–3. autonomic neuroeffector junction it has not been possible to carry out similar studies4. Here we report a method extracellular recording which allows simultaneous measurement both nerve action potential and transmitter from postganglionic sympathetic terminals. We confirmed that is intermittent5,6, but importance this new approach relationship between terminal can be studied unambiguously for first time. Thus are able show unequivocally intermittence caused by low probability invaded varicosity failure invade varicosity.
