摘要: Digital micromirror devices (DMDs) by their high-switching speed, stability, and repeatability are promising for fast, reconfigurable telecommunication switches. However, binary mirror orientation is an issue conventional redirection of a large number incoming ports to similarly output fibers, like with analog micro-opto electro-mechanical systems. We presenting here the use DMD as diffraction-based optical switch, where Fourier diffraction patterns used steer beams any configuration. computer-generated holograms that structure light into shape in plane. This way, from fiber can be redirected position The also split positions technique has potential make “any-to-any,” true nonblocking, switch high-port count, solving some problems present technology.
