摘要: Soil harbors planet earth’s most of the undiscovered biological diversity. Traditionally, analysis soil microbial communities has relied on culturing techniques using a variety culture media designed to maximize recovery diverse flora. Only small fraction (<0.1 %) population been accessible with this approach. The assessment degree biodiversity natural requires their composition and structure, by determining number relative frequency bacterial species in community, distribution isolate within them, physiological role relation environment as result fluctuations environment. advent novel advanced molecular based nucleic acids revolutionized studies flora which were previously limited inability cells detected direct microscopic observations. amplification ribosomal RNA (rRNA) functional genes from extracted directly environmental samples subsequent fingerprinting methods or sequencing phylogenetic analysis. In chapter, we aim summarize techniques, offer insight into diversity assemblages along advantages pitfalls commonly used methods.
