摘要: Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the developmental stages third molar in Israeli children, compare its development boys and girls, maxilla mandible, right left sides various age groups, relate stage chronological age. Methods: Panoramic radiographs 693 healthy children adolescents (328 365 girls) ages 7 16 were analyzed using a modified 6-stage method. Since 16year-old group too small for statistical analysis, it later excluded from study. Radiographs obtained patient files. Results: There no significant differences between girls sides. Slight found mandible. first appearance radiolucent bud at 8.7 mandible 9.3 maxilla. Crown completion observed on average 11.7 11.8 Conclusions: high correlation Agenesis can be determined conclusively if is present beyond 14. method allowed more accurate determination stages.
