摘要: A unique case of carcinosarcoma the colon is reported. The tumor invaded bowel wall deeply, metastasized widely, resisted multi-agent chemotherapy, and caused patient's death 4 years later. was composed adenosquamous carcinoma admixed with sarcoma showing osseous, cartilaginous, nonspecific spindle-cell differentiation. Although carcinoembryonic antigen appeared limited to cells, cytokeratin immunoreactivity observed in both cells. Like carcinosarcomas at other body sites, finding cells supports partial epithelial differentiation this component, likely retained from precursor
