摘要: Individuals who use anabolic-androgenic steroids (AAS) may engage in concurrent psychoactive drug recreationally and/or as an additional training aid. Aside from cannabis, individuals AAS most commonly report of stimulants such amphetamines and cocaine. In this study, we examine demographic characteristics, frequency heavy drinking, nightclubbing a sample 993 men the Global Drug Survey 2015 reported both before exploring relationship between motivation for propensity to concurrently with stimulant-type substances. Results logistic regression analysis suggest that is greater when motivated by weight loss goals, while performance goals are associated reduced odds stimulant use. Identifying at risk polydrug harms can inform targeted harm reduction strategies.
