摘要: A fuel/oil heat exchange system is proposed for an aircraft gas turbine engine heating fuel leaving the tanks before it enters system. The eliminates separate heater. oil designed so that not overheated at hottest conditions, and made to increase temperature of if drops below a pre-determined limit. Referring FIG. 2 drawings, from gearbox 16 passed by scavenge pump 20 coil 14 in exchanger 12. Fuel passes through prior entering 7 filter 6. sensing device 26 signals reduction desired level closes valve 24 preventing passing beneath baffle 25 pump. This causes rise until spills over 25, which gears 23 dip into churn causing its increase.
