摘要: The author was asked by the World Health Organization to examine whether appraisals of intelligence infants and young children show enough predictive validity be dependable criteria on which base adoption policy. Studies have shown that mental-test performances under 6 years age little significance, although reasonable prediction may made in about 37% cases at years. Moreover, too much importance should not given tested parents, particularly those stress, unless their quotients are over 90; it provides, however, a better guide, taken alone, than do tests alone. Tests considered together with parents number other factors, including full developmental history child, its health record, results medical neurological examination. concludes saying major emphasis perhaps placed needs adopting parents; who would only respond child high ability urged adopt an infant but rather has reached where can more accurate.
