39 Approaching Cold-Water Corals to the Society: Novel Ways to Transfer Knowledge

摘要: Outreach is fundamental to disseminate scientific knowledge and approach the general public. The cold-water coral ecosystems are not an exception. During last 15 years many efforts have been made make more familiar these complex society. Technology (which allow possibility reach deepest locations) but also engagement of scientists this possible. In short contribution we highlight several ways promote sensitisation on fragile deep water ecosystems, showing previous experiences discussing some effectively transfer information needed protect manage ecosystems.
