摘要: As a result of the current Sars-Cov-2 pandemic, use teledentistry (TD) has become much more widespread, as it allows for medical consultation while still maintaining social distancing measures The objective this chapter is to update most relevant information on TD, its advantages and disadvantages well important ethical legal aspects It been observed that, in general, TD can be useful instrument practically all dental fields (both diagnosis, treatment follow-up patients) represents time saving professional patient Although traditional visits are necessary many procedures, technology opens new horizons daily practice © 2021, Author(s), under exclusive license Springer Nature Switzerland AG
